The aluminum body is torsion-proof, while the drag system is the powerful Carbon ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag): unlike traditional clutches, the carbon discs maintain great mechanical efficiency even in the event of overheating caused by furious fights with large size fish.

Starting with the enormous Tough Digigear drive and the ARC-shaped Air Rotor, the Daiwa BG Black offers a smooth and accurate performance. Daiwa has also incorporated the latest-generation ATD Drag system, to put you in total control on the fight.

LT is not a new concept in Daiwa engineering, which has produced new sizes of reels that are smaller and tougher than ever. The reel also feature an all-aluminum body and the Digigear technology. Compared to most of the competition, the gears are between 20% to 40% larger. The gears also feature a larger tooth patter, giving the gears a much longer gear life and durability than competitive reels. Tests reveal a gear life that is one to three times the length of competitive reels.
