The new Saltiga are high level rods designed for medium and heavy spinning. Designed to face the most fearsome and strong marine predators both from the shore and from the boat, they combine casting performance at the top of the category with great power and robustness. The lightest ones (with max. casting 60 and 80 g) are ideal for spinning medium-sized pelagics such as tuna, lecce, amberjack and dolphinfish, while the more powerful and robust ones are suitable for spinning tuna. The blank is made of powerful HVF carbon blanks treated with Nanoplus resin and are covered with a special carbon layer that makes them even more robust and reduces torsion: the X45 full Shield . This new technology allows for enormously more rigid and resistant blanks than the traditional X45. The Saltiga Casting adopt the brand new V-Joint Alpha joints.
