The Whisker X45 Specialist series is designed to offer maximum versatility within Feeder and Ledgering techniques, providing the angler with a technical solution adaptable to different range conditions and fish activity. The special feature of the design lies in the provision of a double tip: a classic Avon tip section for traditional bottom fishing in strong currents and a Quiver tip section (interchangeable), ideal for situations that require pinpoint reading of shy touches via solid carbon tops.

The shaft is made of HVF (High Volume Fiber) carbon developed with Nanoplus technology in collaboration with Toray, ensuring an optimal power-to-weight ratio. The integration of X45 technology stabilizes the fibers against lateral twisting, a critical issue when casting heavy feeder or fighting large fish such as Barbel and Carp in rivers with sustained current. Thanks to V-Joint connections, the rod maintains a progressive and smooth curvature, eliminating the stiff spots typical of multi-section rods and ensuring safe fish handling even under extreme loads. The sensitivity of the system is further elevated by the use of the Megatop reel, which allows it to sense the most delicate bites without compromising the structural strength needed to handle “over size” specimens. The technical package is rounded out by high-quality components: Fuji Alconite guides and a Fuji DPS reel holder that ensures total reel stability.
