The Jig Rig is ideal for fishing with silicone lures just above the bottom. The thin profile sinks straight towards the bottom so it is always in front of the hook, so you always feel when a weight that may be from lead or tungsten has touched the bottom. This system allows you to easily guide your lure that is on the hook regardless of the weight.

The lure and hook are free and have more room to move, which greatly increases the likelihood of a successful bite.
