Like all of the SLX models, the ‘XT’ uses a high-end HAGANE Body made of lightweight aluminium, which is surprising for a reel in this price category. This delivers a significant performance advantage when compared to inferior composite bodied reels, as a strong, rigid body works more effectively when under pressure.
